BULL RUN HUNT HUNTER PACE EVENTS

Hunter Pace Events - THE CEDAR MOUNTAIN
(Hunter Pace Event over Fences) - 1:00 PM

Three divisions: Adult Optimum Time, Junior or Adult/Junior Optimum Time and Fast Time Adults. For pairs of horses or ponies at catch weights. Approximately 3 miles over flagged hunting country. Horses and riders must have fairly hunted during the current season with any foxhunting or beagle pack or pony club. Points Count Toward Year-End Awards.

Second Race - THE CULPEPER OPEN PACE
(Open Hunter Pace Event Fences)

Same as first race except riders are not required to be members of a recognized hunt and horses are not required to have been fairly hunted. Two divisions: Optimum Time Only.

Third Race - THE LOCUST HILL
(Hunter Pace Event on the Flat)

About 3 miles. Optimum Time Only. For pairs of horses and/or ponies at catch weights. Adults and/or Juniors. NO JUMPS. Points Count Toward Year-end Awards

ADDITIONAL RACE INFORMATION

Entry fee $50 per pair.
Trophy and five ribbons in each division.
Fast time entries to run first. Entrants must declare fast or optimum time before start of race.
The course will be ready to be walked Tuesday the week of the event. Jumps are mostly chicken coops 3' to 3'3". Maps available at the course. NO SCHOOLING ALLOWED.

DIRECTIONS

From Culpeper, take Rt. 15 South for six miles. Turn left onto Rt. 648, Peacock Lane. Follow the gravel road and look for trailer parking on the right.
