Hunter Pace Event - HUNTER PACE EVENT OVER FENCES - 1:00 PM

About 2 1/2 miles over flagged hunting country; course to be announced the Sunday prior to the event - NO SCHOOLING ALLOWED - may be walked in advance. Three divisions: Adult Optimum Time, Junior or Junior/Adult Optimum Time, and Adult Fast Time. Pairs running for fast time will run first and must declare so at time of entry. For pairs of horses or ponies at catch weights. Horses and riders must have fairly hunted during the current season with any foxhunting or beagle pack or pony club. Trophies awarded to winning pairs in all divisions. No Post Entries. Entry fee $50 per pair. Points count towards year-end awards.

Open to adults, juniors and hilltoppers. Course to be approximately 2 miles over natural hunting country and to be run in pairs. Trophies to the winning pair. Entry fee $50 per pair. Points count towards year-end awards.

DIRECTIONS

From Washington: Take Rte 66 West. Exit #31 (“The Plains/Old Tavern”). Left at the end of the ramp onto Rte 245. At stop sign, take a right onto Rte 17 N. Go ½ mile, make a left turn at Rte 812 (Dondoric Farm Rd). Show entrance is 100’ on the left. From Fredericksburg: Take Rte 95 N. Exit #133 (Warrenton). Follow Rte 17 N to Opal. Take a right on Rte 15/29. Get off on the Warrenton by-pass, follow Rte 17 N. After passing “Great Meadow” on your right, go ½ mile, make a left turn at Rte 812 (Dondoric Farm Rd). Show entrance is 100’ on the left.

POST ENTRIES will be accepted but only pre-entries will be awarded points that count toward year-end awards.
