Weights: four-year-olds, 155 lbs.; older, 160 lbs. If there are not five entries or three starters, this race will be combined with the maiden hurdle race.

About 2 miles. For Four-Year-Olds and Up. Weight 170 lbs. Maidens allowed 10 lbs. Riders, who have won under rules over fences since 2008, 5 lbs. extra. For each series win, 3 lbs. extra up to 6 lbs. over the base weight. There are no weight allowances for novice riders.

ADDITIONAL RACE INFORMATION Twelve starters allowed in races over fences. Fourteen starters allowed in flat races. The maximum/minimum number of starters is to be determined by the Stewards. Entry fees: $25 in all races.
Number cloths will not be issued unless current coggins tests for each starter is presented; likewise a health certificate must accompany horses shipping from outside Virginia. Entry fees must be paid by cash or check in order to receive number cloths. This will be strictly enforced. No dogs allowed on the Locust Hill Farm property.
