Maryland Governor’s Cup Steeplechase Horse of the Year Hot Springs and Private Attack are tied with 10 points; Bubble Economy with 7. With the current standings, the tie will be broken with the one point earned by Private Attack in his 4th place team finish in the Foxhall Farm Trophy Team Chase. Novice Timber Champion Battle Op is in the lead with 7 points, but with Fire Foot, Haddix and Incomplete not far behind with 5 points each; the winner will not be declared until after Potomac’s Novice Timber.
