The Blue Ridge Hunt Point to Point Races have been rescheduled. The new date is Sunday, April 23.

The Pageland Timber Horse Challenge:

There will be a $10,000 bonus for the top three timber horses by points on the 2017 Virginia Point to Point Circuit. The bonus will be split $5,000 to first, $3,000 to second and $2,000 to third. Points will be awarded 5-3-2-1 to the first four places in open and lady races and half points will be earned in maiden, novice, amateur and novice rider timber and foxhunter races. To be eligible each horse must make at least two starts and win at least one race.

This competition is sponsored by Sara and Bruce Collette and will be awarded at the annual VPPF awards party.

There are several corrections to race conditions at the Orange County Hounds Point to Point. The second race is an Open Flat Race not a Restricted Young Adult Flat Race. Both flat races will be 1 1/2 miles. Neil Morris is now Race Chairman.
