Dr. Joseph M. Rogers passed away on Saturday, March 8. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 12 at St. James Episcopal Church in Leesburg.

Follow Culpeper St. ( becomes Springs Rd.), 4miles Go Past The Oaks 1/4mile Turn Right on Holtzclaw Rd (rt.681) Go appx. 1/4mile to 1st gate on right.
There will be many signs and gate will be well marked. Please park on the right as it will be the driest part of field.

Follow OPAL RD to stop sign, (appx 5 miles) Turn right on Rt.802,Springs Rd.
Go appx 2.5 miles
Turn left on Rt.681,Holtzclaw Rd.
Go appx 1/4 mile to 1st gate on right

Turn on Holtzclaw Rd.
Go appx 2miles to entrance on left

The Old Dominion Hounds Point to Point will offer $4,000 purses in the open hurdle and open timber races. There will also be a $1,000 leading trainer award and a $1,000 leading rider award. The rider award will be for the non-series races.

The Blue Ridge Hunt Point to Point and Hunter Pace Events have been postponed. The point to point will be run on Sunday, March 23, and the hunter pace events will be run on Sunday, May 4.
Conditions for the point to point have been revised and are available on this web site under the Condition Book tab. The hunter pace will add open divisions over fences and on the flat.
The Thornton Hill Fort Valley Hounds Point to Point will be run on Sunday, April 20. Post time will be 1:00 pm. At this time a new date for the Hunter Pace has not been determined.
At the Howard County Cup Races the amateur rider flat race will count towards the $1,000 Trainer Award.
